Due to label issues it finally saw the light in 1999 with the actual tittle… Rough and not perfectly executed, it represents the really start of Mütiilation.

One of the pioneering industrial black metal forces to emerge in the early 90’s, Mysticum brought to the world a completely unique brand of extreme & psychedelic discordant black metal with insane drum machine patterns & synths. They were originally signed to Euronymous’ Deathlike Silence Productions label, such was his belief in the band (Mysticum even featured Hellhammer from Mayhem in their line-up for a brief period). However, this venture proved to be cut short following his death, forcing Mysticum to look elsewhere for the release of their eventual debut album, ‘In the Streams of Inferno’, finally surfacing in 1996.

Dedicated to the true ways of the ancient, U.E carves a path familiar, yet unique in its twists and turns of labyrinthine composition, contrasting spectral synth passages with mid-pace of raw black metal massacre. Raw, stripped down and rancid—Nachtlich’s Third Ritual is the triune damnation triumphant.

“Terrific recording of a Nächtlich rehearsal, in anticipation of their concert at the Summoning Of The Elder Spirits show in New York, on June 24th, 2022. Released on home dubbed tapes for that same gig, this rehearsal was done with the full live line-up that composed that seance, playing that same setlist, consisting of tracks off of “Satanas Solum Initium Est”, their self-titled album, the “Third Ritual”, “Second Ritual of Night Worship” and self-titled EP’s.
