  • Indecent Exposure (UK) – Reveal All ! LP 26.88

    RAC/OI!

Their first, long-awaited album “Reveal All!” was only released in 1985, after the band had released a double A-side single called “Riots/A Matter of Time” on their own label “IndEx Records” at the end of 1983. “Reveal All!” is classic Oi! Music in its rawest form with titles like “A Way of Life” and “Bank Holiday” to harder songs like “I won’t let my Country die” and “Save the Nation”. In 1985/86 the local Oi! Scene has probably reached its lowest point. At a gig in Tufnell Park, North London, singer Steve Reeve got into an argument with hardliners in attendance. One of these idiots threw a bottle while Indecent Exposure were playing their set, Steve’s head was hit and slashed. In Hardcore Oi! Indecent Exposure finished their concert in a similar manner and then jumped into the crowd to find the bottle thrower. But in true low-life fashion, the culprit had crawled back into the hole he came from. Later that night, Steve was taken to the hospital where he received twelve stitches in his head.

  • Kahlkopf (CH) – Der Metzger GOLD LP 28.88

    RAC/Oi!

In 1987, the band Kahlkopf released their debut album “Der Metzger” on Rock-O-Rama Records. The title of the same name quickly developed into one of the group’s best-known and at the same time most controversial songs. With its haunting imagery and often aggressive lyrics, “The Butcher” became a distinctive battle cry. The controversial content of the song addressed left-wing violence, criticism of immigration policy in Germany as well as partying and drinking – topics that Kahlkopf had already covered on her first demo tapes. Thanks to its release on Rock-O-Rama, the Bad Homburgers’ LP was widely distributed.

  • Odins Erben (DEU) ‎– Helden Sterben Einsam LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

Still a real hit today! Odin’s Erben are known to be the Nordwind forerunner band. With this debut, the group was able to achieve their first real success and prove their reputation as Germany’s No. 1 Viking Rock Band. “Helden sterben einsam” was a soothing musical “splash of colour” in the otherwise grey-in-grey knitted right rock market of those days.

  • OHL (DEU) – 1000 Kreuze LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

OHL’s “1000 Kreuze” LP from 1982 is a milestone in German punk and is definitely a record in the discography of this legendary band that no fan can ignore. With a much fatter production than on their debut, the punk veterans around singer Deutscher W showed back then which direction they would take in the coming decades. The political significance, the striking lyrics and the uncompromising hardness are still unmistakable today and make this album an unwavering classic of this style of music.

  • OHL (DEU) – Heimatfront LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

OHL, the pioneers of “hardcore punk”, attracted maximum attention with their debut album “Heimatfront” in 1981, which was partly due to their polarizing lyrics. Titles like “Germany”, “Kernkraftknight”, “We are the Unrepaired” or “Embassy Song”, which openly called for the storming of the American embassy, did the rest to spread the word in all ideological directions. However, this was not well received by hotheads on the left and right. When the record was made in the early 1980s, punks were already oriented towards the left of the political spectrum, while skinheads were committed to the right. Although the band was considered “Nazis” by leftists and “ticks” by rightists, the Supreme Army Command, or rather their mastermind Deutscher W, never let themselves be dissuaded from their chosen path – always go straight, never turn! Ok, these days certain concessions are necessary in order to get a foot on the ground in the left-green, polluted cultural world, but what does it matter to the enterprising record collector who wants to complete his personal vinyl oeuvre with this repress?

  • Public Enemy (UK) – Englands Glory LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

Released on LP in 1986 and re-released on CD in 1995, this patriotic British Oi! Tape. Incidentally, “England’s Glory” was recorded and mixed by none other than Mark Sutherland in the legendary “Bunker Croydon” recording studio. Sutherland has already brought his musical expertise to bear on other important records (including serving as Skrewdriver drummer on their “Hail the New Dawn” album). Unfortunately, “England’s Glory” has been somewhat forgotten between all the releases back then, which does a complete injustice to the musical achievements of this band. Reason enough to release “England’s Glory” on vinyl again!

    RAC/Oi!

Here comes Froide! Re-release of the Skrewdriver “B & H” album, which can no longer be distributed in Absurdistan due to the title. The recordings have been digitally remastered and the sound has been improved again compared to the 2007 edition. Compared to the 2007 LP edition, unfortunately more tracks had to give way here, but they were more than equally replaced by three sampler songs.

Since the material contained here can be regarded as valuable in terms of contemporary history, all those who either came too late with the release of that time or who want to complete their Skrewdriver collection with an official re-release should grab this one.

  • Snix (FRA) ‎– Quand Le Soleil Se Levera LP 26.88

    RAC/Oi!

In the 1980s, France produced a number of impressive Oi! bands that stood out for their energy, authenticity and passion. One of the most outstanding representatives of this genre was undoubtedly the formation, which originally consisted of three brothers – Didier (vocals), Boni (drums) and Manu (bass) – as well as a childhood friend, Fred (guitar). Their 1986 record “Quand Le Soleil Se Levera” (Eng: When the Sun Rises) is a milestone of the French Oi!. Recorded in Lille, the band’s hometown, the album combines raw Oi!/Punk with catchy melodies and engaging lyrics. Classics like “Ces Annes La”, “Europe” and “Clockwork Orange” show the group’s versatility and their ability to captivate the listener.

  • The Klansmen (UK) – Fetch The Rope LP 28.88

    RAC/Oi!

Do we have Christmas yet? Not yet, but the white Christmas is casting its shadows ahead. This is part 1 of the Klansmen trilogy. As is well known, Klansmen was a studio project consisting of Ian Stuart Donaldson (Skrewdriver) and other well-known musicians from the subcultural English music scene. For legal reasons, no specific names are mentioned here, but anyone who knows a little about the music scene at the time and has kept an eye on the music scene at the time knows that at least one person from a well-known Psycho Billy band was involved here.
