  • Sargeist (FIN) – Disciple Of The Heinous Path SMOKE LP 28.88

    Black Metal

Returning from their Icy sojourn, SARGEIST delivers the next Pinnacle of Grim Black-Metal De-evolution. “Catastrophic yet catatonic, “Disciple of…..” surges forward like a blackened bayonet while clutching you in tones of merciless, iniquity. Excellent, putrid black metal.

  • Sargeist (FIN) – Let The Devil In GALAXY LP 28.88

    Black Metal

This is a more mature release musically. The song structures have come a long way since Satanic Black Devotion, but still maintain everything this band is known for. There is definitely more of the signature intertwining guitar work, that weaves in and out amongst the chaos of the drums and ghastly vocals. It’s that guitar work that takes the listener for an emotional roller coaster, especially on songs like “Burning Voice of Adoration”, which has the ability to stir up absolute sadness and sorrow.

  • Sargeist (FIN) – Satanic Black Devotion RED LP 28.88

    Black Metal

Grim Nihlistic Black Metal. This is a cold as death, Black Metal masterpiece!! Featuring members of HORNA & BEHEXEN, this is the Finnish BM supergroup! Perhaps the coldest release since DARKTHRONE’s “Under A Funeral Moon”! The riffing is fast, melodic, and in pure Finnish/Norwegian black metal roots heritage.

  • Sargeist (FIN) – Tyranny Returns WHITE LP 28.88

    Black Metal

Finnish cult super-group Sargeist makes a timely return with the second of two concurrent releases: a LP reissue of their (cassette-only) unofficial first album, “Tyranny Returns”. Hot on the heels of their split album with Horned Almighty, ‘Tyranny Returns’ is a more varied, even ‘punkish’ affair, however, climaxing with the same end-results – devastatingly true Black Metal.

  • Satanic Warmaster (FIN) – Aamongandr LP 28.88

    Black Metal

And so the battle continues with Aamongandr, SATANIC WARMASTER’s first studio full-length since 2014’s acclaimed Fimbulwinter. Indeed, where that album evinced a diversity of songcraft and, more so, a concertedly polished aspect that majestically made that obsidian gleam, Aamongandr explores that duality with equally compelling results. In fact, with the album wasting no time in kicking into high gear, SATANIC WARMASTER sounds more urgent than ever – and yet, here is where the band’s epic side is also revealed in full. Cryogenic and caressing is its melodicism, in the glare of burning churches, and deftly dusted with subtle synths that heighten the mysticism at the heart of the SW sound, Aamongandr’s six songs charge forth with the grim grandiosity of mighty steeds; not for nothing is one of the album’s highlights titled “Duke’s Ride (Ride of the Spectral Hooves).” All told, this sixth long-form statement of intent is immediately recognizable as SATANIC WARMASTER but irrevocably proves that its creator’s imagination continues to flow as infinitely as the Atlantean depths.

  • Satanic Warmaster (FIN) – Exultation of Cruelty LP 30.88

    Black Metal

New album, completely performed and recorded/mixed by Werwolf, created in total isolation between 2021 and 2024. Exultation of Cruelty brings forth a wintry breath reminding of the rising Black Metal underground of the early 2000s, and the original barbaric strength of Satanic Warmaster when “Finnish Black Metal” bullshit of today didn’t exist.

  • Satanic Warmaster ‎(FIN) – Nachzehrer SILVER LP 30.88

    Black Metal

The fourth full-length album from Satanic Warmaster. “Nachzehrer” is a cruel monument of medieval darkness, northern desolation and Black Metal terror. 40 minutes, 8 songs, recorded with full analogue equipment with a truly extreme sound. This 2010 Satanic Warmaster album again shows a noteworthy rejuvenation of his unique unapologetic style with a more rabid production and more varied songwriting, something all the cheap imitators will have a hard time matching. “Nachzehrer” travels deep into a kingdom of the dark forces of nature, vampiric magick, inner darkness and devil worship.

  • Satyricon (NOR) – Dark Medieval Times DLP 38.88

    Black Metal

The first Satyricon album, Dark Medieval Times, was released in the autumn of 1993, through the young band’s own Moonfog Productions imprint. Recorded earlier that year, it was both instantly recognisable as the product of the thriving Norwegian scene and as something wholly distinctive within that superficially restrictive musical framework. Even more remarkable was the fact that the entire record had been written and performed (with the exception of drums) by a then 17-year-old Sigurd ‘Satyr’ Wongraven: clearly a prodigious talent with an abundance of epic and perverse ideas rattling around in his head.

  • Satyricon ‎(NOR) – The Shadowthrone DLP 38.88

    Black Metal

With Frost’s drumming a key component from the start, the Satyricon unveiled on The Shadowthrone is far closer to the unstoppable, obsidian juggernaut we know and hail today than anything heard on the seminal but occasionally guileless Dark Medieval Times. Informed by the tonality and textures of Norwegian folk music tradition but fuelled by Satyr’s unique vision of black metal, the propulsive, muscular forward grind of grandiose sprawls like In The Mist By The Hills threw down a formidable template, upon which Satyricon have continued to build for more than a quarter of a century.
