Every song is a 100% hit in terms of lyrics, melody and playing skills. You can listen to the album over and over again without getting tired of the performances. Only very, very few groups can do that and that definitely includes the band from Philadelphia. Arresting Officers have thus forever immortalized themselves in the collective memory of patriotic music lovers.

One of the best Oi! albums of his time. We’re talking about the debut work “Patriotic Voice”, the first American Oi! Band Arresting Officers from 1989, with which the musicians played a combination of “eggs” and melody. You can say a lot about the band, that they were “right-wing” or even went a little further in their own way. The fact is that the boys from Philadelphia were American patriots in the best sense. Therefore, they did not want to spread the message of US imperialism, for which patriotism is now known to be abused by the transatlantic establishment. Due to the increasingly narrow corridor of opinion in the Federal Republic of Germany in 2019, accompanied by politically desired criminal prosecution, two songs unfortunately had to be removed compared to the original CD. The tracks “The boat is full” and “Why do you stay silent?” are NOT included on this record!

Melodic Black metal with punk/oï influences, Calamites & les Calamités haunts us in ridiculously difform Perigord legends, carried by the decadent proclamations howled in an almost ruined, out of age barn… (vocals were actually recorded there).
The magnificent work on guitars and sound will carry you in a forgotten countryside, where an aging population, almost feral and animal-looking, discretly and suspiciously wanders in its misery. Among the remains of minor historical landmark monuments, which returns to Earth, too. Slower, maybe, but in the same definitive manner.
