With Embrace of Memory (originally released in 2005), Darkestrah reaffirmed their status as one of the most distinctive bands in the black metal scene integrating traditional melodies, instruments, and rhythms into an intense and atmospheric sound that reflects both their cultural roots and their continued evolution. Founded in Kyrgyzstan and now based in Europe, the band has long stood apart for blending the raw power of black metal with the rich traditions of Central Asian music.

Originally released in 2004, Sary Oy is the second album by Darkestrah, a band known for blending epic black metal with Central Asian folk traditions. Black Metal

Slipcases and boxes for this cassette tape release have been manually printed in a traditional letterpress machine and screen-printed respectively. Each one has been handcrafted and assembled from scratch individually at Triangulum Ignis’ headquarters.
“Matka Na Sabacie”, the piece that gives name to the release, is a Polish translation of the poem “Mother at the Sabbath” by Aleister Crowley.
