  • Aptorian Demon (NOR) – Liv Tar Slutt MARBLE LP 32.88

    Black Metal

APTORIAN DEMON hail from Trondheim, Norway. They were founded by vocalist, guitarist and sole member Storhetsvanviddets Mester, who has also been known as Ghâsh. APTORIAN DEMON embody black metal in its original bleak and raw form. Their mastermind is neither apologetic about this, nor about the hateful, misanthropic, and satanic content. This is what black metal is about. Storhetsvanviddets Mester is a lone wolf, who does not want to be associated with previous bands or the Nidrosian scene. APTORIAN DEMON have previously released the EP “Angst, jammer og fortvilelse” in 2005 and the debut album “Libertus” (2012), which gained the band a dedicated following in the underground. Naturally, there are no social media outlets. APTORIAN DEMON have deigned the time to be right for their sophomore full-length. Entitled “Liv tar slutt” (‘Life Ends’), this album keeps every ‘promise’ of a strong black metal statement made by the previous releases and will delight dark souls with its cold, harsh, and razor-edged songs.

  • Arckanum (SWE) – Fran Marder LP 32.88

    Black Metal

After having caused a stir within the worldwide underground and attracting the interest of various labels, the year 1995 saw the emergence of ARCKANUM’s first full-length album Fran marder. Only released one year after Trulen the album’s nine tracks featured four entirely new songs while “Hvila pa tronan min”, “Svinna”, “Gava fran trulen”, “Bærghet” and “Kolin væruld” were already present on Trulen. In general, Fran marder picks up where Trulen left off. The components that made Trulen such a stand-out effort are all intact but presented in a refined way. The most striking difference between the second demo and Fran marder is the professional studio sound. Courtesy of Peter Tägtgren’s Abyss studio the powerful production helped boost the impact of the tracks considerably. Despite this cornerstone of Black Metal already celebrating its 30th anniversary Fran marder hasn`t lost any of its relevance. Devotees still cite the first album as one of their favourites of the entire ARCKANUM catalogue which only proves its timelessness.

Remastered for vinyl from the original recordings by Patrick W. Engel of Temple of Disharmony.

Gatefold-sleeve with UV-varnish on the cover.
Including a huge 20-page 12” booklet with an in-depth interview (divided into 4 parts, this is part 2) with Shamaatae and many never seen before pictures.
An A2 poster will be added to every vinyl too.

NOTE: This item is a pre-order item with an intended release date of November 5, 2025.

  • Arckanum (SWE) – Kampen DLP 36.88

    Black Metal

With creative fires ever glaringly blazing and totally devoted to his craft, Shamaatae would be able to unleash Kampen only one year after the previous album spread pestilence and plague. The third and at the same time last installment of the band’s first era also ranks as the longest ARCKANUM album up to this day. Although recorded in the same studio as its predecessor and generally continuing the trajectory of Fran marder and Kostogher, Kampen is arguably the finest hour (or rather 73 minutes) of ARCKANUM’s first era. It not only contains some of the most refined compositions Shaamatae has come up with at this point but compared to the other two albums sports the best sound too. On a record rife with highlights, it’s difficult to pick particular tracks but the majestically melancholic “Pa gruvstiigher vandrum” complete with conjuring female chanting and the rather straight forward almost punkish “Trulfylket, raþz ok os” well represent the diversity of Kampen.

  • Arckanum (SWE) – Kostogher DLP 36.88

    Black Metal

Two years after Fran marder’s release, the second ARCKANUM album Kostogher was set free to plague the feeble world. The ARCKANUM trademarks as edified on Trulen and Fran marder are kept intact while at the same time new ingredients are mingled. Whereas Fran marder had a rather clean sound, Kostogher’s production comes with a lot of stink and filth. The harsh sound of Kostogher which convincingly marries the rawness of Trulen with a vigorous studio production turns the second full-length into a savage and quite possibly the most primal sounding ARCKANUM album. Compared to Fran marder, Kostogher comes across way dirtier, meaner and all around crazier. The whole album has a bold FUCK OFF written all over it.

Remastered for vinyl from the original recordings by Patrick W. Engel of Temple of Disharmony.

This release will come as a double-LP in a gatefold sleeve with UV-varnish on the cover and an etched D-side.
Including a huge 20-page 12” booklet with an in-depth interview (divided into 4 parts, this is part 3) with Shamaatae and many never seen before pictures.

  • Arcturus (NOR) – Aspera Hiems Symfonia DIGI-CD 16.88

    Black Metal

Following their early EPs “My Angel” (1991) and “Constellation” (1994), ARCTURUS finally released their debut album “Aspera Hiems Symfonia” in 1996. The Norwegians derived their name from the brightest star of the Northern hemisphere and were obviously influenced by the massively expanding black metal scene of their homeland. Already featuring such well-known protagonists as ULVER’s Garm and MAYHEM’s Hellhammer, the line-up on “Aspera Hiems Symfonia” saw Samoth replaced by excellent guitarist Carl August Tidemann and outstanding ULVER bass player Hugh “Skoll” Mingay also joining the band. Despite their audible black roots, ARCTURUS clearly begged to differ by daring to experiment and adding an avant-garde twist with strange sonorous vocals complementing those piercing shrieks, Sverd’s cinematic keyboards, the technical guitar solos, and more elements that to this day mark the band from Oslo as progressive innovators.
