The third album by the enigmatic Old Tower titled “The Last Eidolon” tells a sombre story of a kingdom laid to waste by its own creator through the corruption of dark magic and possession of destructive spirits. Because of wrongful decisions, spiritual rebellion and the misuse of ancient yet dangerous practices these malevolent forces started to turn against the enchanter. And so fell his once proud and powerful dominion. What was once great has now been reduced to a hollow manifestation of its old self. The long and weary process of reclaiming its former glory has begun…

Throughout the “Grim Alchemy” trilogy, smithed in conspiracy with the mighty Hospital Productions, The Specter meticulously crafted his own style of medieval dark ambient. “The Last Eidolon” is an elongation but also a new direction of this concept and will take the listener on a desolate journey spanning three, long chapters. Faded memories of a dark past will shimmer in and out of existence throughout these epic compositions yet the energy of renewal is flowing from the fountains of the old kingdom.

Since we sincerely don’t give a fuck about categorizing something based on our deepest beliefs, we should not spend too much time speaking about the fact that this music exists through The Evil One and NEVER vice-versa!
Our goal is to let you, the listener, truly feel the atmosphere and mysterious meaning behind it all.
Listen to our music and find inspiration; after all, that’s the whole point behind it. We believe in the innumerable figures of evil in the world, manifested in countless ways. The Devil’s mysteries are too many to fully mention, for they are not for us to find out.

This divine opus was released in 2001. It was the first ONDSKAPT release in the history of the band. Finally we can announce that it is back from its tomb. Re-mastered and re-issued, you; the listener can hear a far more clear and dynamic experience of its entirety. “Slave Under His Immortal Will” was the starting point of a path leading into the vast beyond. Opera IX are a symphonic black metal band formed in Italy by guitarist Ossian and released their debut album The Call of the Wood in 1995, and over subsequent years have become regarded as one of the most revered and important Italian bands of the genre.

Opthalamia was a land of pure fantasy created by IT and the songs are connected to stories based around this fantasy-world. The original vocalist of the band was All (also in Abruptum), but he was then replaced by Shadow (Jon Nödtveidt of classic death/black metal band, Dissection). Shadow handled vocals on this album, the band’s debut, which was originally released in 1994. Though the band could be classified as black/doom metal, there is much more to Opthalamia, with varied metal influences, tempo changes and melodic passages becoming progressively more prominent, helping to distinguish them from their peers.
