One of the pioneering industrial black metal forces to emerge in the early 90’s, Mysticum brought to the world a completely unique brand of extreme & psychedelic discordant black metal with insane drum machine patterns & synths. They were originally signed to Euronymous’ Deathlike Silence Productions label, such was his belief in the band (Mysticum even featured Hellhammer from Mayhem in their line-up for a brief period). However, this venture proved to be cut short following his death, forcing Mysticum to look elsewhere for the release of their eventual debut album, ‘In the Streams of Inferno’, finally surfacing in 1996.

N.A.O.S. (aka New Age Of Satan) was always a lonely path. That of the wanderer. The musical wanderer, the occult wanderer. The Magus (known as Magus Wampyr Daoloth back then) used the project as an experimental electro-musical gate to other uncharted territories for a black metal musician of that time. Fueling his emotions, thoughts, urges, visions and prophecies into music and lyrics therefore creating a sometimes disturbing , sometimes melancholic piece of art. Like the bitterness of Lucifer. Like the loneliness of Satan.

Formed in 1992, Umeå, Sweden’s black metal nihilists NAGLFAR were quite prolific at the front of their existence. After releasing their classic debut “Vittra” in 1995 it only took them until 1998 to unleash “Diabolical”. Century Media Records is making both of their quintessential first two albums available again. The 2023 Re-issues will come with liner notes and remastered by by Dan Swanö at Unisound (Opeth, Insomnium, Asphyx and many more). Both are available as LP with a 4p LP booklet in coloured 180g vinyl, Ltd. Digipak CD and Digital Album.

Bleeding into the rivers of the twilight world, Hrima is rooted in spiritual existentialism and the poetic mysticism of nature. It explores the trial of man, the nameless longing for transcendence and his loss of words when he experiences the divine will. Musically, “Hrima” is Black Metal and arcane instrumental music, woven into a massive work spanning over 2x 12″. The musical climaxes and atmospheric depths are inspired by the foreboding emotional stirrings when observing celestial phenomena, which in certain moments can almost indicate a sense of revelation.
