Harvest (AUS) / Drowning The Light (AUS) – Invoking A Star Shambler CD

17.88

Black Metal

This split EP of rotten, melancholic & Vampyric Black Metal invokes a Star Shambler from those forbidden cosmic gulfs.
Although both entities are from the same shadow, Harvest returns with a track of ice cold, vile, sinister and raw Black Metal after three years of silence, once again spreading its addictive poison.
Drowning the Light reflects the more melancholic yet majestic side of this shadow, synth laden and hypnotizing, raw yet atmospheric Black Metal. The title of this split was inspired by the 1935 short story “The Shambler from the Stars” by Robert Bloch, and delves into other Vampyric entities that are said to lurk beyond the stars, hidden in the moonlight or crawling through the angles between dimensions, bloodthirsty and decaying, only emerging to take the life force of the living before receding back from whence they came.
