The highly praised early 90′s Mexican black metal album will be available again on vinyl format with proper packaging. Included are all album tracks with the original mix and four extra tracks taken from their split demo with Avzhia. The layout was completely redone for this vinyl version.

Xzælthu’s 2020 demo incantation is the miserable dreariness of immortal hunger. The eternal ailment of perpetual darkness. A grimoire of morbid spells steeped in a wash of howling dissonance, meandering tremolo melodics of mournful repose, caught in dance of mid-paced percussive cymbal clashing, and vast vocal orations from beyond the void. Lost in the dream labyrinths of the dungeon crypt conjuration, Xzælthu is the spectre at the end of the tunnel’s maw, lunar enchanted claws luminous with the tears of a million martyrs.

YMIR’s history stretches back to the late ’90s. The band originally existed as a trio of vocalist/guitarist Vrasjarn, later of funeral doomlords Profetus; drummer Lord Sargofagian, who concurrently founded the prolific Baptism; and lead guitarist Toni Pšlkki. With this lineup, YMIR released the Trollsword demo in 1999, mystical black metal firmly (and favorably) of its time. Seven more years would follow before another recording came from YMIR, as the brothers Vrasjarn and Lord Sargofagian were busy with the aforementioned bands (and many others), but the Silvery Howling demo at last arrived in 2006, courtesy of WEREWOLF, and saw the band scaled back to a duo and evincing a rawer, nastier sound whilst retaining the sweet stench of the ’90s. Naturally, once again, more silence ensued…

Ynkleudherhenavogyon comes from the mythical Cornwall (South West England). A peninsula known for its magnificent monuments from forgotten times of the Celts. “Honan Bleydh” is a personal journey to manifest those primordial powers that are hidden in those monuments and in the vastness of the ocean. All Ynkleudherhenavogyon releases were written in Cornish language to become one with this primordial entity. Raw occult black metal with pagan roots in the dark history of Cornwall.

And so we initiate the transformation from Ynkleudherhenavogyon to Venymysgourvleydh, noting that both paths are not yet complete. All titles of this transformation were originally intended for Ynkleudherhenavoyon, but Nostalggia, who is the mastermind behind both projects, decided to draw a line. Ynkleudherhenavogyon is all the more concerned with the Celtic heritage found in caves and their primordial soil and the endless howling of the ocean, while Venymygourvleydh carries this spirit and brings with it nothing but lamenting void. Each part may speak for itself, but musically Nostalggia remains feral and mystical, for both paths equally.

Traditional elements of the genre are simultaneously present and shattered into corrupted forms completely engulfing the listener.
The vocals throughout capture torturous psychosis transversing inhuman realms of madness.
Hidden within the filth are manic melodies and riffs, which provide a touchstone in the maelstrom of ugly chaos.
Each EP represents a moment of time for this demented artist and as a whole demonstrate the mutations of this addictive tumultuous plague.

As the burial shroud is slowly raised over the face of the deceased it is common for despair amongst the mourners to reach fever pitch; the wailing, the panic, the tearing of hair and gnashing of teeth as loved ones throw themselves at the coffin in uncontrollable and unbearable hysteria… for they know that this is the last time on this earth that they will see the face of their partner… their precious, adored, beautiful child.
