  • Irae (POR) – Lurking in the Depths LP 23.88

    Black Metal

By now, IRAE should require little introduction. Since the dawn of this cursed millennium, mainman Vulturius has prolifically pursued a singular vision of RAW BLACK METAL that includes four full-lengths and countless split releases with likeminded comrades. As such, IRAE have almost singlehandedly invigorated Portugal’s black metal scene, particularly the rawer iteration of it, and more recently find themselves aligned with the elite Black Circle, alongside MONS VENERIS, VETALA, Decrepitude, and Rainha Cólera. Fans since the beginning, SIGNAL REX are honored to be aligned with Vulturius for IRAE’s long-awaited fifth album.

  • Isengard (NOR) – Vårjevndøgn LP 32.88

    Black / Folk Metal

After a period of 25 long years since Isengard’s last studio output, and having recently unearthed a set of tracks from his own archive of material recorded back in those early glory days, this new series of tracks – which were thought to be lost – follow on from some of the metal last heard on 1994’s ‘Vinterskugge’.

‘Vårjevndøgn’ is a monumental journey of epic heavy metal mixed with a often more sombre doomy rock/metal atmosphere bringing to mind bands like US heavy metal veterans Pentagram, & also includes 2 tracks previously only heard on the limited ‘Traditional Doom Cult’ 7” Peaceville release from 2017.

  • Issolei (NOR) – Cilicium LP 26.88

    Black Metal

Unpredictable, challenging and intricate Black Metal from Trondheim, Norway. What separates this band from the ‘usual Terratur releases’, whatever that really means, is the intense technical variations of this band. At times so dissonant it gets you to a breaking point, only to be left marveled by another genius twist with their ingenious songwriting. I stand in ave! Although the resemblance to a certain French act springs to mind, ISSOLEI delivers something unique if you ask me. Play loud repeatedly to fully grasp it all, this band requires your full attention.

Originally the two Devouring Current ep’s was their debut album, recorded back in 2014, but as it was well over an hour long, it was split in two, edited slightly and fully mastered in 2020. Cilicium was recorded in 2017 and shows the band regressing slightly in both arrangements and production, moving backwards into even darker territories. As the band got a new vocalist in 2020, the band already has a substantial history over 15 years after its inception, and it’s with immense pleasure Terratur Possessions gets to present all this at the same time while we wait in anticipation for more to come.

Though it might sound like multiple guitar tracks, Devouring Current in its entirety has only a single track of one guitar. The guitar effects were pre-programmed and recorded as presented on the released album.

  • Jure Grando (CL) – Archaic Moon Mysticism LP 28.88

    Black Metal

Bestowing a mastery of harsh and bleak raw black metal. Indonesian Raw Black Metal entity JURE GRANDO conspires rites of undeath in a manifestation of this tormented anomaly that emits sounds of dark witchery and voiding chaos.

A revelation of JURE GRANDO is summoned, ‘ARCHAIC MOON MYSTICISM’ will rebirth the shrouded unholy spirits that follow the path of mystic raw black metal. This dedication of evil is a manifestation of ethereal illusions and chaotic visions. This declaration of Raw Black Metal is a proclamation of impure, inhuman, and unholy sounds. This distorted and destructive assault summons eight tracks of ancient invocations, leading an alliance of treacherous drumming, tortured howls, and mystic guitar melodies. These offerings demonstrate the total worship of chaos and abhorrence, leading JURE GRANDO further into the nights veil after the entities two previously released demos. A resurrection of raw ferocity and internal evil devoid of life.

  • Kahlkopf (CH) – Der Metzger GOLD LP 28.88

    RAC/Oi!

In 1987, the band Kahlkopf released their debut album “Der Metzger” on Rock-O-Rama Records. The title of the same name quickly developed into one of the group’s best-known and at the same time most controversial songs. With its haunting imagery and often aggressive lyrics, “The Butcher” became a distinctive battle cry. The controversial content of the song addressed left-wing violence, criticism of immigration policy in Germany as well as partying and drinking – topics that Kahlkopf had already covered on her first demo tapes. Thanks to its release on Rock-O-Rama, the Bad Homburgers’ LP was widely distributed.
