Through a rusty black metal, joyfully old, Ascète gives its vision of a forgotten and forlorn countryside, where the small poor people of campains slowly die in the indifference of big cities administrations. Melodic Black metal with punk/oï influences, Calamites & les Calamités haunts us in ridiculously difform Perigord legends, carried by the decadent proclamations howled in an almost ruined, out of age barn… (vocals were actually recorded there).
The magnificent work on guitars and sound will carry you in a forgotten countryside, where an aging population, almost feral and animal-looking, discretly and suspiciously wanders in its misery. Among the remains of minor historical landmark monuments, which returns to Earth, too. Slower, maybe, but in the same definitive manner.

Astral Spectre was founded in 2020 by Tenebros as a solo project. It is a blend of harsh 1st wave Black Metal vocals and guitar riffs that evoke the unique feeling of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Inspired by classic rock of the 70s, a hammond organ is also included into the soundscape.
The first three songs were written and recorded during 2020, while the mixing and mastering was done in 2021, leading to the release of the demo „The Oath is Broken“ on two limited runs of self produced cassette tapes.
