Originating in Hutchinson, Kansas in the early-mid 90′s, Arcane Shadows unleashed a very raw and sinister brand of American Black Metal. This LP collects the “Enthroned Mysticism” demo from 1995, “X.E.S.” demo from 1996, and unreleased tracks. For fans of early Black Funeral/Sorath and Demoncy.

Originally released in 1993, this genuinely disturbing piece of work, considered by many as one of the best Black Metal EPs of all time, is the pure quintessence of what the Satanic metal scene has to offer the world, a morbid compendium of bestial compositions!

With creative fires ever glaringly blazing and totally devoted to his craft, Shamaatae would be able to unleash Kampen only one year after the previous album spread pestilence and plague. The third and at the same time last installment of the band’s first era also ranks as the longest ARCKANUM album up to this day. Although recorded in the same studio as its predecessor and generally continuing the trajectory of Fran marder and Kostogher, Kampen is arguably the finest hour (or rather 73 minutes) of ARCKANUM’s first era. It not only contains some of the most refined compositions Shaamatae has come up with at this point but compared to the other two albums sports the best sound too. On a record rife with highlights, it’s difficult to pick particular tracks but the majestically melancholic “Pa gruvstiigher vandrum” complete with conjuring female chanting and the rather straight forward almost punkish “Trulfylket, raþz ok os” well represent the diversity of Kampen.

Remastered for vinyl from the original recordings by Patrick W. Engel of Temple of Disharmony.

This release will come as a double-LP in a gatefold sleeve with UV-varnish on the cover.
Including a huge 20-page 12” booklet with an in-depth interview (divided into 4 parts, this is part 4) with Shamaatae and many never seen before pictures.
An A2 poster will be added to every vinyl too.
