Celestia (FRA) – Forever Gone DIGI-CD €16.88
Black Metal
“Forever Gone” emerges as an invocation, a final breath drawn from beyond the veil. Each track lingers like mist over forgotten graves, steeped in longing, rich in desolation. Every note drips with the weight of absence, as if composed in the hush that follows a final farewell. In this album, the spectre of Celestia is not laid to rest; it is transfigured, echoing into the silence that follows all things.

Circle of Ouroborus (FIN) – Autuala DIGI-CD €15.88
Black metal
Impervious to any form of classification, Circle of Ouroborus generate an amalgamation of styles that is utterly their own creation.
Riffs are emotive while burrowing deep within the recesses of the mind, imparting themselves into the subconscious.
The vocals sit in a purgatory of tortured spoken singing, heavy with reverberation echoing across the instrumentation.
Each track effortlessly drifts into indiscriminate soundscapes with curiosities hidden throughout, providing the listener a different experience upon each visit. Another stellar entry into their ever evolving discography that should not be missed. In stock

Circle of Ouroborus (FIN) – Lumi Vaientaa Kysymykset DIGI-CD €15.88
Black Metal
Their 2023 latest album on digipak-CD.
With “Lumi Vaientaa Kysymykse” we can see still some elements of recent CoO albums, with a lot of soothing, shoegazing melodies passing through, however the pace is rather toned down into a more dragging and Doomy pace, often reminiscing with Katatonia, both in tempo as melody wise, and with an approach more akin to records like “Kuuhun Kahlittu” and some part which are particularly metallic and acrid, such as the beginning of the second track, almost closer to Atvar’s work under Kêres. The Post-Punk basslines however are still always there creating their own shamanistic, hypnotic sound, as well as the feverish experimentalism characteristc of 70s and 80s Psych and Folk rock and adjacent much present in the keyboards and daring, outsider guitarwork, particularly in “Lankeemus”.

Cirith Gorgor (NLD) – Onwards to the Spectral Defile CD €15.88
Black Metal
Two years after their acclaimed debut album conquered the black metal scene, Cirith Gorgor’s greatly anticipated sophomore album “Unveiling the Essence” was released on Osmose Productions in 2001. The album, while displaying all the strengths of their debut in the way of melodic yet fast black metal, showed a definite growth in song writing and, with a new writer in the process, summoned a even more intense and melancholic atmosphere than their first release. Owing to the worldwide positive response, “Unveiling the Essence” sold out over the years and has never been reprinted until now. Moreover the album is being released on vinyl for the very first time, something which puts warranted emphasis on the magnificent cover artwork by Kris Verwimp. Germanic tribes unite your forces, take up your arms and ride your horses! Bellum Germanicum, finally…

Clandestine Blaze (FIN) – Consecration of the Blood CD €16.88
Black Metal
Since 1998 Clandestine Blaze has been on its path where core ideas of Black Metal are presented with merciless and unapologetic ways. CB has rejected many of the forms contemporary black metal has taken and ways it manifests itself. However, instead of nostalgia for past, CB has been on constant movement towards future and each album brings new additions to formerly existing body of work. Consecration of the Blood is at the same time traditional CB, yet brings always something new. Sound rejects many of the flaws seen in contemporary metal. Production rejects both polished clean studio approach as well as distorted lo-fi mess. What comes to overall sound, Consecration of the Blood is somewhere closer to Fist of the Northern Destroyer, On The Mission and New Golgotha Rising. Minimal echoes, thin and piercing sound, not compressed and boosted. Music combines simplicity of old CB with more unusual riffing of new CB. Lyrically proceeding from where former albums have touched. Available on black vinyl LP and jewelbox CD.

Cradle Of Filth (UK) – The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh DIGIBOOK CD €24.88
Black Metal
This is where it all began, the 1994 debut which shook the European Black Metal scene upon its foundations.
Originally released on cult imprint Cacophonous Records, CRADLE OF FILTH first album is now available for the first time over a decade on noble vinyl but also on picture vinyl, digibook-CD and tape. While still bearing few traces of their Death Metal roots, The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh remains an unique sounding album to this day, drenched in gothic atmospheres and vampiric themes. A true masterpiece which immediately spawned many imitators, although none managed to match their intensity and undeniable British flair. In stock

Cradle Of Filth (UK) – V Empire, Or Dark Faerytales In Phallustein DIGIBOOK CD €24.88
Black Metal
Although it had a very troubled birth, all detailed in the liner notes included with those different versions here, CRADLE OF FILTH almost-album-length 1996 EP V Empire, Or Dark Faerytales In Phallustein proved to be a superb triumph over adversity. Despite all their legal problems, line-up changes and insane pressure after the gigantic success of their debut album, the Brits nevertheless managed to write and record a slab of new even grander songs, next to a new version of the already classic ‘The Forest Whispers My Name’, some would argue even bettering their debut in the process.
