  • Bâ’a (FRA) – Deus Qui Non Mentitur WHITE LP 26.88

    Black Metal

Bâ’a is composed of three individuals coming from the French black metal scene. Their stylistic approach is both modern and respectful of the broad lines carved by the essential black metal acts of the 90’s. Between devastating riffs, long hypnotic atmospheres, mid-tempo passages flirting with Doom and french vocals chanted as a sermon, their music is epic, melodic and melancholic. At the very heart of the concept and the compositions of the formation lie a central theme : the relationship of Man to the Divine and the damages caused to this connection by Man’s selfish pride and Ego.

  • Black Funeral (USA) – Empire Of Blood RED LP 28.88

From the forbidden depths of vampiric sorcery emerges Black Funeral’s most haunting conjuration, “Empire of Blood” – a spectral tapestry woven from the arcane mysteries of the undead nobility. This otherworldly opus channels the ancient magicks that flow through immortal veins, where centuries-old rituals bind the living to eternal darkness. Black Funeral is one of the originators of “Vampyric Black Metal” from the early to mid 1990’s! Each track unfolds like an incantation from blood-stained grimoires, driven by haunting tremolo melodies that spiral through the shadows like phantoms in midnight procession. The album’s ethereal atmosphere conjures visions of pale aristocrats performing forbidden rites in candlelit chambers, their empire sustained not by conquest but by the dark arts that transcend mortal understanding.

  • Black Funeral (USA) – Vampyr – Throne Of The Beast WHITE LP 28.88

    Black Metal

From the frost-shrouded crypts of eternity emerges Black Funeral’s unholy testament, “Vampyr Throne of the Beast” – a glacial monument to the undead sovereigns who rule from shadows beyond mortal comprehension. This arcane opus channels the primordial darkness of castle keeps and moonless nights, where ancient bloodlines converge in blasphemous ritual. Released originally in 1995, “Vampyr…” is the debut album that established Black Funeral as one of the foundational bands in the American black metal scene.
Each track unfolds like parchment scrolls inscribed with forbidden knowledge, weaving tremolo-picked melodies that slice through the veil between worlds. The album’s frigid atmosphere conjures images of candlelit chambers where vampiric nobility hold court, their pale forms draped in medieval splendor as they preside over kingdoms of bone and shadow.
Raw, hypnotic passages cascade like winter winds through gothic spires, while ritualistic percussion echoes from stone halls where no mortal foot has tread for centuries. The production’s deliberate coldness preserves the necromantic essence – each note crystallized in ice, each vocal incantation rising from depths where daylight dare not venture.
“Vampyr Throne of the Beast” stands as a grimoire of black metal orthodoxy, summoning the spectral majesty of Europe’s darkest medieval legends. This is music for the witching hour, when the boundary between the living and the eternally damned grows thin, and ancient powers stir in their unhallowed thrones.

  • Dark Funeral (SWE) – Attera Totus Sanctus ORANGE LP 26.88

    Black Metal

Originally released in the autumn of 2005, of DARK FUNERAL’s fourth album, Attera Totus Sanctus, was arguably the band’s fastest and fiercest record ever – which is all the more remarkable given the band’s longevity to that point. Where most bands soften or slow down as they get older – or break up, respectably, before ruining their good name – DARK FUNERAL proved that age is just a number and made their razor-sharp yet always-melodic sound that much more nuclear-powered. In fact, that they were able combine such amazingly blitzed speeds with melodies that are highly memorable, even at those speeds, is something that’s black magick indeed… And another fiery album cover proved that nothing could extinguish DARK FUNERAL’s inferno!

At long last, OSMOSE will do DARK FUNERAL’s back catalog justice with the first of many reissues. This version of Attera Totus Sanctus will faithfully reproduce the original, now finally available on vinyl for the first time in nearly a decade.

  • Dark Funeral (SWE) – Diabolis Interium ORANGE DLP 30.88

    Black Metal

Originally released in the autumn of 2001 on the pivotal No Fashion label, DARK FUNERAL’s third album, Diabolis Interium, arguably brought the band to their biggest audiences yet. The album’s release was followed by wealth of touring across both Europe and the United States, the latter still a rarity back then for Scandinavian black metal bands. Indeed, with the razor-sharp execution across Diabolis Interium, DARK FUNERAL were perfect ambassadors for the sound, and for Swedish black metal in general: many bands had come and gone over the ‘90s, but there they stood, sticking to their guns – and spiked gauntlets. Nothing could extinguish this inferno!

At long last, OSMOSE will do DARK FUNERAL’s back catalog justice with the first of many reissues. This version of Diabolis Interium will faithfully reproduce the original. Include 4 cover tracks (King Diamond, Sodom, Slayer, & Mayhem) and 3 live tracks (from South American 2003).

  • Dark Funeral (SWE) – The Secrets of the Black Arts LP 26.88

    Black Metal

Originally released in early 1996 on the pivotal No Fashion label, DARK FUNERAL’s debut album,The Secrets of the Black Arts, was an incredibly powerful first full-length statement. From its iconic cover art on down to the sharp, powerful production by Peter Tägtren at Abyss Studios, it could be easily argued thatThe Secrets of the Black Arts was THE defining record of ’96, when black metal was climbing out of its sensational days and etching a new language into the wider metal landscape. DARK FUNERAL were there, armed with an arsenal that was shockingly fast yet still exceptionally memorable. Even with all that blastbeaten aggression, there still existed a wealth of atmosphere to the album, proving that the band were no one-trick ponies.

  • Dark Funeral (SWE) – Vobiscum Satanas GOLD LP 26.88

    Black Metal

Originally released in the spring of 1998 on the pivotal No Fashion label, DARK FUNERAL’s second album, Vobiscum Satanas, consolidated the strengths of the band’s classic The Secrets of the Black Arts debut – shockingly fast execution, exceptionally memorable melody, and plenty of icy atmosphere to spare – and made the whole attack tighter and more concise. The production, too, once again courtesy of Peter Tägtren at Abyss Studios, became razor-sharp, highlighting these subtle developments. As such, many quite rightly consider Vobiscum Satanas the equal of The Secrets of the Black Arts. Either way, between this pair of albums did DARK FUNERAL establish themselves among THE top black metal bands of the late ‘90s.

  • Dark Funeral (SWE) – Where Shadow Forever Reign LP 26.88

    Black Metal

Seven years without a new studio album by long-running Swedish black metal act DARK FUNERAL was a tough time for its worldwide legions of fans, but finally in 2016, two decades after the release of the band’s legendary debut album “The Secrets Of The Black Arts” a new aeon is about to begin. And, DARK FUNERAL’s sixth studio album, “Where Shadows Forever Reign”, produced by Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth), actually refers back to the aforementioned first album in several ways: Firstly, it proudly comes along with stunning artwork by Necrolord (Dissection, Necrophobic, Emperor) just like “The Secrets…” back in ‘96, secondly, it also marks a debut of sorts as it is the first DARK FUNERAL opus with new vocalist Heljarmadr (Grá). His vitriolic snarl finds a perfect match in Lord Ahriman’s trademark riffing, and shines on the intense opening track, which would not have felt out of place on 1998’s “Vobiscum Satanas”, as well as on the slower epic, “As I Ascend”, the diverse “To Carve Another Wound”, or the grim finale “Where Shadows Forever Reign”. Rewarding their fans to the fullest with an incredibly strong new album burning with passion and determination, DARK FUNERAL shall celebrate a triumphant return…in the sign of the horns.
