Two of the majestic forces within the circle set off on a sinister dark journey down the malicious path, perpetuating an opening that slides deep into various pagan platitudes, mysticism and misanthropy. The macabre act devoted to these two pieces of raw black metal/sinister omens, was revealed in an incandescent act of absolute solemnity towards funerary art, pagan works and the putrescence of evil… both works achieved in a semi-rehearsal type quality that provide an overwhelming musical performance soured with the demonic poison that they recite in each of the death hymns.

Resembling an ancient agony, in eternal dying splendor, these entities have crossed the southern night skies to recite a work entitled “Ensomhet” one of the ancient passages adorned with darkness and cruelty. This opus to the ancient ones hovers over the distant eyes of the great black dragon, the eternal poisonous sleep of the gods exalted in cold cacophonous stormwinds, each of the orchestrations constitutes the black spell of the primordial realms and the majestic countenance, of vitrified prayers beyond from the southern mountains eroded and sunken by fate, where primitive man completed his transmigration in the mysteries and secrets of possession…

While largely within the wider umbrella of black metal, RVBBERVVITCH’s unique expression nevertheless evades easy categorization – nor easy consumption. Guitars are harsh and cold, yet seemingly summoned from a post-apocalyptic crater rather than an amp; bass tones are mercilessly overdriven, grinding body and soul into the dirt; cutting out humanity altogether, both blastbeats and doomy stomps pump like pus from a Midi drum-machine; and sinister echoing soundscapes meld with malodorous French vocals, which demonically range heavily distorted screeches to low-pitched grunts. And whereas so many nowadays “black metal” bands play-act, the creator of RVBBERVVITCH matches content with form, life with art: the unconventional, largely taboo visual imagery is a reflection of the artist’s unabashedly hedonistic lifestyle.

Titled Outojen Tornien Varjoissa, FAUSTIAN PACT’s full-length debut is the grand culmination of all the gloriously bewitching work they brewed across that trio of demos. Exploding with an effervescence that’s addicting and undeniable, their swords-aloft attack surges and swells, crests and cascades. At the forefront are stained-glass synths whisked from a time – and a fantastical landscape – far, FAR away, sumptuously underlining their heroic/romantic style of black metal deeply steeped in a nostalgic past. Across the album’s 41 minute (fantastical) landscape are spread lyrics of splendorous mythology, swords & sorcery, vast forgotten realms brought to life through wily, wanderlusting black metal betraying a noble melodicism. FAUSTIAN PACT are thus a unique balance of contrasts: orkish energy vs. mystical atmosphere, dungeon rawness vs. castle-top aristocracy, obsidian darkness vs. gleaming light. So, whether 25 years ago or 2500, removed by a reality or two, Outojen Tornien Varjoissa is timeless BLACK METAL MAGICK – dark medieval times have at last arrived!

Wampyric Rites is evoked from his deep sleep in the anno MMXIX by three ghostly entities inside the desolate dungeons covered by the dust of time and drinking from the chalice the ecstasy of the ancient spirit of Black Metal and Old School Dungeon Synth resulting in his first work called Demo I.

The nocturnal entity drinks the ecstasy of the dark mysteries of the night under the icy mantle that covers the sinister fog. The different spells that have been captured in different manifestations have been consecrated: Demo / EP and Split the same ones that have been recorded in the classic Lo-Fi form, with the dark passion and devotion to the sinister art of the evil tyrants Belongs to the Pure Raw Underground Black Metal Plague Circle.

It was but November 2018 when MORGAL fully burst onto the international scene with their self-titled EP for WEREWOLF. At the time, two of their members were not yet even into their 20s, which perhaps explains the exceptionally foul electricity coursing through the 15 shock & awe minutes of Morgal. And despite that young age, MORGAL brazenly exuded the ageless wisdom of true black METAL – so ageless, in fact, that you’d be forgiven for mistaking that EP as the work of very old men. Alas, Morgal was hailed far and wide by all who heard it, and the fever pitch for their true debut album has only grown in intensity.
