Die Alliierten (DEU) – Ruhm und Ehre LP

26.88

RAC/Oi!

The disc contains a total of 14 songs by the Bergisch combo, which was the first German skinhead band ever to release an album on Rock-O-Rama Records, which was not without controversy in the politicizing scene at the time, as the record contained the piece “Blinder “Hass” a song that clearly took a position against racism and anti-Semitism. Unsurprisingly, this wasn’t exactly met with approval from some hardliners. Curiously, in an interview at the time, the band basically apologized for the lyrics, which were attributed to the “too liberal” guitarist, who is said to have been kicked out of the band a short time later. Insightful analysis: Back then, “political correctness” and “cancel culture” worked the other way around .
